Dafne Keen is Back as X23 in Deadpool 3

A report circulated earlier this year that Logan actor Dafne Keen was in talks to play an older version of X-23 in Deadpool 3 before the strikes began, and we're now hearing that she has signed on to reprise the role in the impending MCU threequel.

Negotiations are said to have begun shortly after the strikes ended, and insider Daniel Richtman (via Patreon) now claims that the His Dark Materials star will play Laura in the Merc With a Mouth's next big-screen excursion. Following Keen's excellent performance in James Mangold's film, it was widely expected that she would be given the opportunity to reprise the part in the future. Of course, this was before Disney bought the assets of 20th Century Fox in a widely publicized buyout the same year.
