First Look At Tim Blake Nelson As The Leader from Captain America 4

Captain America: Brave New World was delayed until 2025 due to WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Sam Wilson's first solo Captain America adventure needs substantial reshoots, which contributes to that.

From what we've heard about Marvel Studios' intentions for the reportedly troubled film, those are likely to occupy much of the summer, maybe scrapping the Serpent Society and reworking several action scenes.


We know Cap will fight Harrison Ford's Red Hulk, an adversary we expect Samuel Sterns to build. After appearing in 2008's The Incredible Hulk, he became The Leader, Bruce Banner's biggest foe.

The MCU's Leader, played by Tim Blake Nelson, has been revealed in promo art by @CanWeGetToast.

It's not as dramatic as expected; Stern's head is expanded and the actor has a beard and hair. Perhaps his skin is green, but if so, it's a light jade! The villain's suit is mostly covered.
