Venom 3 Gets New Title and NEW Release Date

Sony's third Venom movie had a huge overhaul. Columbia Pictures named Venom 3 Venom: The Last Dance on Tuesday night. Venom: The Last Dance will open two weeks sooner than intended, on October 25th instead of November 8th. Venom: The Last Dance will be shown in IMAX and premium formats.

Franchise star and producer Tom Hardy used "The Last Dance" in a social media remark about the film's production last November. This comes amid fan speculation that Venom: The Last Dance may be Hardy's last film as Eddie Brock/Venom.

Kelly Marcel (Fifty Shades of Grey), who wrote and produced the first two Venom films, will helm The Last Dance. Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Hardy are joining the cast. Marcel and Hardy will produce with Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, and Hutch Parker. Fans believe Venom 3 will continue Eddie's multiversal-hopping from Venom: Let There Be Carnage and Spider-Man: No Way Home's post-credits scenes.
