Kingpin can't appear in MCU films due to SONY
In Daredevil: Born Again, Mayor Wilson Fisk fights vigilantes in New York. Though the Kingpin has mentioned Spider-Man, his main target in the final two episodes is still the Man Without Fear, and many fans want to see these three meet.
Many fans want Spider-Man 4 (now Spider-Man: Brave New World) to feature Daredevil and the wall-crawler fighting Fisk. Unfortunately, it's still unclear how likely that is. Vincent D'Onofrio told Josh Horowitz why he doesn't expect to play Kingpin in Spider-Man: Brand New Day or any other film.
"My only knowledge is negative. "Using my character is difficult for Marvel," he said. "It's a very hard thing to do, because of ownership and stuff." D'Onofrio said, "Right now, I'm only usable for television series." Different series, but not a one-off Fisk movie, are all about rights and stuff. I don't know when or if that would work out."
