Clayface set photos end speculation that THE BATMAN PART II will be set in the DCU.

Gotham City Police Department vehicles are being previewed in Liverpool, England, where production is starting. There were rumors about a Los Angeles setting, but this confirms that we'll visit Batman's home.

Which Batman? Even though Matt Reeves is producing and Clayface was originally planned as an Elseworlds film set in The Batman's world, it will be a DCU film.

Hopefully, the Caped Crusader will appear in this horror story. While that's possible, we can probably forget about Robert Pattinson's Batman joining the DCU. The GCPD's vehicles don't match The Batman's, as shown below. That could change post-production, but it may be time to let go of this dream.

That aside, these images give us our first tantalizing look at the DCU's Gotham after a Superman sign revealed that it's a short drive from Metropolis.
